Travelers Choose Serviced Apartments Singapore Over Hotels

Savvy travelers are no longer booking hotel rooms at their favorite destinations. Instead, they're turning to serviced apartments that offer similar services and amenities at a lower cost and with more flexibility. Serviced apartments Singapore are sought after by business and leisure travelers who are visiting one of the world's top travel destinations.

Space and facilities:
Unlike traditional hotels and even extended-stay hotels, serviced apartments usually offer spacious accommodations. They're always fully furnished with comfortable furniture and modern appliances. In fact, serviced apartments often rival five-star hotels in furnishing and décor.

Serviced apartments always include a kitchen - something very few hotel rooms offer. This allows the traveler to choose between cooking at the apartment or going to a restaurant. Hotel guests do not have this flexibility, and dining out every night is expensive. In addition, serviced apartments also have dining rooms in addition to a living room and sleeping area. Each unit is equipped with a stove, washer/dryer and other appliances. And travelers also have easy access to a health club, swimming pool and other facilities. In other words, a serviced apartment offers all the amenities of home and a hotel - for a very low cost.

Serviced apartments are also usually located near offices, shopping malls and theaters. They're in the hearts of cities as well as the outskirts, near transportation to get you wherever you need to go.

Even billing is simpler with a serviced apartment, whether the traveler is staying for one night or several months. All the amenities and services are included in a single bill. Unlike a hotel, travelers aren't nickeled and dimed for every minor amenity. The apartment rates also include all taxes and fees.

Booking
To reserve a serviced apartment, you usually have to pay 10 percent upfront with your credit card. The remainder is due when you arrive at the apartment. Check-in times vary, but they're usually between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.; however, most apartment managers are flexible. When you book your apartment, you will tell the agent how many people will be staying with you. Each person costs extra. Many serviced apartments also allow pets, but you need to let the agent know when booking the room if you'll be bringing an animal.

When You Arrive
After paying the balance of your bill, you will receive the keys to the apartment. If you are not satisfied with the accommodations, ask for a different apartment. You also can cancel the booking if nothing is available that satisfies you. Keep in mind that any special requests should have been made when you booked the apartment, not once you've arrived.

Your Stay
You will be provided with a phone number once your booking is confirmed. You can use it to ask any questions before, during and after your stay. Many apartment buildings also have front desks where you can ask questions about services, amenities and nearby attractions. Typically, check-out times are 11 a.m. or later.

Serviced apartments Singapore are increasingly popular among business travelers, corporate officials, military servicemen, entertainment professionals, sportsmen, leisure travelers and senior citizens. Add yourself to this list and book your apartment today!
